How it works

Game Overview

• Everyone starts at Sergels torg (T-Centralen)

• Teams: 1 Escaper team vs. 3 Chaser teams, 1–3 players each

• Teams must stay together

• The 3 Chaser Groups work together to find the escapers

• One WhatsApp Group for the chasers to communicate necessary

• Use public transport or go on foot — your choice

• The game lasts until the escapers are caught, but maximum 2 hours

  -> The Escapers win if they remain uncaught for 2 hours

  -> The chasers win if they catch the escapers (within talking distance)

• Don't run! Focus on strategy and not on fitness! ;)

Game phases

1. Head Start (0–15 min)
Escapers start moving immediately. Chasers must wait.

2. Chase (15–90 min)
Chasers begin the hunt. Use strategy and trigger zones to track down the Escapers.

3. Closing In (90–120 min)
Escapers can only move on foot in the final phase.

Trigger zones

• Strategic spots on the map that give teams powerful abilities.

• All teams can use any Trigger Zone, but each individual zone can only be used once per game!

Freeze – Target team must stop for 10 minutes
Live Location – Target team shares live location for 15 minutes
Transport Clue – Target team reveals their last transportation route
Surveillance – Target team sends a 360° video or panorama

To use a Trigger Zone, a team must physically go there and activate it in the app.
Some trigger zones have short cooldowns before another can be used, so plan ahead.

Strategy Tips

For Chasers:

• Split up and cover different areas

• Use Trigger Zones at key moments

• Think like an Escaper — where would you go?

For Escapers:

• Use Trigger Zones, you get an insight what the chasers are up to, and remember: Every trigger zone that has been activated, can't be activated again!

• Plan for the final 30 minutes on foot

• Stay unpredictable and avoid being cornered

Fair Play

• No entering shops, museums, or paid-access locations

• Obey all traffic rules and stay safe

• Outsmart your opponents — don’t outrun them
